Magadheera (2009)



Released in the year 2009, Magadheera is a romantic action movie that is directed by S. S. Rajamouli and written by K. V. Vijayendra Prasad. The movie primarily revolves around four main characters: a brave warrior, who protects the princess from the enemy; the princess, on the other hand, is in love with him; “a prince who lusts after Indu (the princess)” and a ruler who wants to defeat their kingdom.

Arya 2 (2009)



Arya 2 is a sequel of Arya, which was released in the year 2004. Directed by Sukumar, Arya 2 is a mix of action, comedy and romance. Starring popular celebrities like Allu Arjun and Kajal Aggarwal in lead roles, the movie was a super hit as it earned a share of 30 crores in just span of 100 days.

Ala Modalaindi 



Starring Nani and Nithya Menen in the lead roles, Ala Modalaindi is an Indian romantic comedy film that is directed by Nandini Reddy in the Telugu language. The movie was a big hit and was also released in Bengali, as well as the Tamil language.

Ye Maaya Chesave (2010)




Produced by Manjula Ghattamaneni and directed by Gautham Menon, Ye Maaya Chesave is a romantic drama film. Featuring stars like Naga Chaitanya-Samantha Ruth Prabhu in the lead roles, “the film’s music is composed by A. R. Rahman”.

Bommarillu (2006)


Bommarillu, directed and co-written by Bhaskar, is a romantic comedy film in the Telugu language. Starring film actors like Siddharth Narayan, Genelia D’Souza, Prakash Raj and Jayasudha, the movie was a success at the box office which led to its remake in different languages, such as Tamil, Bengali, Oriya, and Hindi.


Yaaradi Nee Mohini (2008)



Released in the year 2008, Yaaradi Nee Mohini is a movie directed by Mithran Jawahar in the Tamil language. The movie is a remake of Aadavari Matalaku Arthale Verule, which featured Venkatesh and Trisha Krishnan with Dhanush. It was a super hit Telugu movie in the year 2007.

Mouna Ragam (1986)



Written and directed by Mani Ratnam, Mouna Ragam is a film produced in the Tamil language in the year 1986. The movie features popular actors, like Revathi and Mohan in the lead roles. The story revolves around Revathi, who plays the role of Divya Chandramouli, “robbed of her carefree existence”; she gets married to Chandrakumar (Mohan), while she is still grieving over the unfortunate death of her former lover Manohar. Jointly edited by B. Lenin and V. T. Vijayan, the movie was later dubbed in Telugu with the same title.

Sachein (2005)



Released in the year 2005, Sachein is a romantic comedy movie, which is directed by John Mahendran. Starring super hit Bollywood actors like Bipasha Basu, Genelia D’Souza, and Vijay, the movie features Santhanam, Vadivelu, and Raghuvaran in supporting roles. Sound composed by Devi Sri Prasad, the movie was a huge success at the box office.

Oh My Friend (2011)



Produced by Dil Raju in the year 2011, Oh My Friend is a romantic drama movie, which was directed by Venu Sri Ram. Starring Hansika Motwani, Siddharth and Shruti Haasan in lead roles, the movie’s music was produced by Rahul Raj. Dubbed in Tamil version, the movie was released on the 20th May 2012.
